Philanthropy is evolving.

A shift is underway—one that’s fueling a social enterprise revolution and challenging the conventions of traditional charitable giving.

It’s time to adapt.

To scale impact at the level our world needs, financial sustainability can’t be treated as taboo—it must be embraced as a vital lever in today’s social-good movement.

Robbie Martin is a strategic fundraising and partnerships consultant helping mission-driven organizations thrive.

He founded The RAM3 Project to design innovative strategies, events, and engagement programs that unlock growth and deepen impact across mission-driven sectors close to his heart.

Robbie’s career spans leadership roles with organizations including Equality California, where he reshaped the corporate engagement, major donor, and events strategy, and arts institutions Center Theatre Group and LACMA, where he built dynamic corporate giving programs from the ground up. He earned his M.A. in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, an experience that continues to inform his enterprise-minded approach to social good.

The name RAM3 honors three generations of entrepreneurship in Robbie’s family, following his grandfather’s company RAMCO and his father’s firm The RAM Group. Carrying forward the legacy of these two heroes is a privilege—and a responsibility he holds close.

When he’s not building purpose-driven partnerships, Robbie can be found reading historical fiction, planning his next global adventure with his husband Brooks, or chasing their dog Waffles around their new hometown of Chicago—after more than a decade of formative experiences and lasting bonds built in Los Angeles. He is grounded by the love of his family—both given and chosen.

Manifesto on 3

The power of trines, trips and triads can be seen all around us and in every dimension of culture, religion and philosophy. From the three branches of our government (when its functioning) to the many manifestations of holy trinity, it is undeniable that balanced triangular partnerships have the potential to unlock a strength greater than the sum of its individual parts.

The same is true when it comes to social impact. There is potential for an alchemy between leaders of high-impact organizations, the supporters who provide resources to move the needle on social change, and the strategic partners they engage for ideas and direction. As seasoned professionals, we know that tactical experts can help us identify what we’re missing in our blind spots and overcome our pitfalls by contributing expertise and skills to complement our own. A harmony is achieved in which each of the partners contributes something tangibly essential toward a common mission.

The aim for The RAM3 Project is to be your partner and offer a view you may not have thought of in order to optimize the immensely important relationships with your greatest allies—your funding partners. We are your tie breaker and perspective maker. We are the glue that bonds your relationships with transparency and trust. And we approach challenges with a growth mindset, acknowledging that we’re only as strong as those we surround ourselves with.

We are all changemakers. Let’s lift one other up and raise the collective vibration so we may thrive and tackle the biggest social issues of our day—together.
